Mrs. Jordane Crispel – Lawyer in Montreal, Canada

Mrs. Jordane Crispel joined the team of the law firm Lecours, Hébert Lawyers in December of 2011.

She is a member of the Quebec’s Bar since 2011 and a member of the Paris Bar since 2004.

Having completed her law studies in France, Mrs. Crispel received a master’s degree (D.E.S.S.) in business and tax law from Université Paris II (Panthéon-Assas) in 2003 and an advanced master’s degree (D.E.A.) in contractual and property law from Université Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) in 2004.

She also finished a master degree in Common Law at the University of Montreal in 2009.

Before joining the law firm of Lecours, Hébert Lawyers, Mrs. Crispel practiced for more than two years as a legal counsel in French law in the Quebec offices of a large French insurance company that is well established in Canada.

Her dual legal training makes her exceptionaly well-positioned to assist clients in files containing issues of both French and Quebec law.

Within the law firm of Lecours, Hébert Lawyers, Mrs. Crispel practices in the fields of business law, international business law, corporate law, civil and commercial litigation, family international law and succession law.

Mrs. Crispel is very implicated in her community. She is the founder, secretary and administrator of the Lawyer’s Association of France in the Quebec’s Bar (AAFBQ in french), she gives pro-bono legal consultations at the French Union of Montreal and gives conferences to the new immigrants at the French office of Immigration and Integration.

She is the author of a study concerning the sharing of estate assets published in the Juris-Classeur Inheritance and Gifts of Lexis Nexis editions.

During her free time, Mrs. Crispel enjoys travelling and horseback riding, the later of which she practiced at a competitive level for numerous years.
