Mr. Mathieu Labrie

After completing his paralegal studies at Collège Ahuntsic in 2014, Mathieu joined the firm Lecours, Hébert Lawyers. He practices mainly in the fields of business law, litigation and intellectual property.

In the corporate field, Mathieu assists the lawyers and their clients in the incorporation, registration, radiation, dissolution, modification and reorganization of corporations and legal persons. He also assists the lawyers and their clients in name research and in tax number requests.

Moreover, in the field of litigation, Mathieu assists the attorneys in the preparation of their files through the various stages of litigation, prepares day-to-day correspondence and, under the watchful eye of the attorneys, prepares draft procedures of all kinds.

Furthermore, Mathieu manages various tasks in the field of intellectual property. His duties include performing intellectual property research in various databanks as well as assisting the lawyers and their clients in the trademark application process, in the trademark opposition cases and in cancellation of trademark with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and the Trademarks Opposition Board.

Mathieu is versatile and devoted. On a day-to-day basis, he is supporting the multidisciplinary activities of the firm.
